At the moment, Amazon is working to support Apple AirPlay 2 and HomeKit for 2020 Toshiba and Fire TV 4K UHD code . Support for the AirPlay and HomeKit protocols will eventually make its way to other Fire TV products, although Amazon's press release does not mention Fire TV sticks or set-top boxes. For Apple users, this is a very big deal. AirPlay lets you stream videos or photos from your iPhone, iPad, or Mac to your Fire TV HomeKit lets you control your Fire TV using Siri or your device's Home app manage yourself. No more Alexa! This update also comes as a bit of a surprise since Amazon once banned Apple TV (and other streaming devices) from its marketplace.
Also, the Fire TV platform still lacks Google Assistant Brazil Phone Number and Chromecast support - the Android equivalents of HomeKit and AirPlay. Amazon says AirPlay is automatically enabled on compatible Fire TVs. But to use these TVs with HomeKit, you need to register them as HomeKit accessories. Open the Settings menu on your TV, go to Display & Sounds, and select the HomeKit option. The TV will then guide you through the HomeKit registration process. Note that it may take a day or two for this update to reach your TV.
A few weeks ago, UL (formerly Futuremark) released the latest test in its 3DMark gaming benchmark suite, CPU Profiler. The basis behind this new CPU-specific test is a simulation to measure the performance scales of the processor with cores and threads. Typically 3DMark tests are designed to measure overall gaming performance – and are therefore primarily a GPU benchmark – but this one is a bit different as it focuses specifically on CPU performance. So we wanted to take a look at the latest UL testing to get a better idea of exactly what it's testing, exactly what it's trying to do, and how useful it can be.
